A NOCTURNAL RIDE THAT LIGHTS THE CONSCIOUSNESS AND FACES OF YOUNG AND OLDER PEOPLE
Live a magical and unique experience at the first festival of lights of Jardin des Plantes.
This exhibition gathers magnificent and gigantic luminous statues of animals installed in the alleys and lawns of the Jardin des Plantes. Between extinct and endangered animals, this route is at once magical but also carries a message: to show how important it is to preserve our fauna and flora.
The route begins on Place Valhubert where we find giant lanterns representing creatures that disappeared 65 million years ago and endangered species. Then you have to cross the huge arch of dinosaurs to meet polar bears, mammoths, turtles or penguins. A gigantic fairy white tree awaits us before being swallowed by a huge glittering white shark.
The visit continues in the zoo, where luminous animals meet with live animals. Very original experience to discover the real inhabitants of the zoo in the company of luminous versions. (only animals not disturbed by the lights mix, the others are sheltered).
This festival of unusual light is also ponctuated with live shows on the theme of nature and there are workshops for children who can even build and decorate their own lantern.
The goal of this exhibition is to illuminate the eyes of visitors but especially their conscience by highlighting the protection of the environment!
