The Caveau du Palais is a restaurant, settled in the heart of Paris, in a nice square on the Ile de la Cité. It takes its name from the Palais de Justice which is nearby. Opened since 1972, this convivial restaurant has seduced journalists, lawyers and prosecuting attorneys working in the district (the Quai des Orfèvres is also close). Here, tradition and French tables arts have a place of honor: white tablecloths, cloth table napkins, and faultless service. They prepare a delightful Beef Rib for two, and the Grilled Sea Bass is succulent. You can order a la carte only. Allow around €45 for a dinner. About the decoration, the restaurant reminds a little house from Southern France, with its typical white ashlars and wood beams. An unmissable restaurant, for sure!
Open 7/7 days, from 12 pm to 2.30 pm, and from 7.15 pm to 10.30 pm.
