Ritcher celebrates his 80 years at the Centre Pompidou

On the occasion of Gerhard Ritcher´s 80 years, the Centre Pompidou decided to organize with the collaboration of Tate Modern of London and Neue Nationalgalerie of Berlin, a retrospective presenting 150 works of yesterday and today. Panorama offers to discover the German artist through a chronological and thematic reading of his work, The opportunity to admire the sometimes crazy works of one of the figures of contemporary painting, who explains: “obey to no intention, no system, no trend; I don’t have a schedule, style, nor expectations. I love uncertainty, infinity and permanent insecurity”. Going back through his 50 years of career, the artist reveals the idiosyncrasies of his personality and of his amazing technique.
