The Great Greenhouses of Jardin de Plantes

This week, at the Jeu de Paume Hotel, we decided to dedicate our articles to Jardin des Plantes, a place that we particularly love. Created in 1635, Jardin des Plantes belongs to the Natural History Museum and covers 23 hectares in the heart of Paris. It has 4 greenhouses that reopened 2 years ago after 5 years of renovations. Built in the 19th century, each one has a different thematic (tropical humid vegetation, New Caledonia, deserts and the history of plants), and they preserve vegetal species issued from every corner of the earth. This way, you’ll discover banana trees and other cactuses in a luxurious universe worthy of an Indiana Jones adventure!
