Jambon Jambon by L’Alycastre
After the bistrot L’Alycastre, Jean-Marc Lemmery and his wife Virginie open their annexe just steps from their first restaurant : the Jambon Jambon by L’Alycastre. Nestled under the archways of the Marché Saint Germain des Prés, this tapas bar is friendly with its pink down jackets available for the sensitive to the cold. Conceived like the Spanish markets that we can see, for example, in Madrid, the Jambon Jambon by L’Alycastre allows you to eat on the spot or simply to buy Basque and Spanish products offered by the Chef in his delicatessen. From Iberian cooked meats (Jean-Marc Lemmery directly works with Andalusian producers ) to tapas and Basque specialties, this “guinguette à tapas” ( tapas’ small restaurant, the name that Virginie gives to her restaurant ), is dedicated to the good food enthusiasts.
Particularities of the place ? Everything is pink ! The unique Wismer ham slicer, the several pig figurines or the only French wine offered à-la-carte, a rosé, of course, made in l’Alycastre !
Closed on Sundays in the afternoon and on Mondays
Carte : Count about 20€.
« Le Brunch des filles », on Sundays : 16€.
For Christmas and New Year, we fall for the entire ham box, its display case and its knife for 560€.
