A lyrical summer at Opéra Bastille

This summer, culture is a trend at the Jeu de Paume Hotel. This way, what’s better than assisting to a beautiful tragic or comic Opera, at Opéra Bastille of which we recently talked to you about. At the moment, and until mid-July, you can discover two operas, “L´Amour des trois oranges” and “Arabella”. The first one is a comic opera particularly successful, sort of surreal theater where the farce is rigorous, almost inspired of the film genre favoring speed and rhythm. The second one is about the graceful and exquisite silhouette of Arabella, of which the Austrian writer Hofmannsthal leaves unfinished his libretto. Richard Strauss has this way for our greatest pleasure, put each one of his words in music.

L’Amour des trois oranges from June 23^rd to July 13^th 2012. Rates: from 5 to 140€.
